Presenter Bio

Dr Helen Crabb is a research fellow at the National Centre of Antimicrobial Stewardship and her current research focus is on the appropriate use of antimicrobials in food animals. She is a veterinary epidemiologist with a keen interest in the transmission of pathogens between humans, animals and the environment.
Her current research projects investigate the transmission of antimicrobial resistant bacterial pathogens (Salmonella and E. Coli) from feed to food and back. In her spare time she loves to travel, and if she can do so while she works, so much the better.
