Kent Swisher is the Vice President, International Marketing Division at the National Renderers Association (NRA). NRA represents the North American rendering industry.
In his position, Mr. Swisher, by direction of the NRA International Market Development Committee, implements marketing and market access programs for rendered products throughout the world. He also represents the US rendering industry in negotiations regarding barriers to trade and is a member of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Trade Advisory Committee. He oversees offices in Hong Kong, Mexico City, and several consultants worldwide.
Kent was raised on a grain and livestock farm in Central Indiana where his family still farms. Prior to the NRA, he worked for the Continental Grain Company, U.S. Grains Council, and the American Seed Trade Association.
He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in agricultural economics.
